There are a number of Camp Grounds in and around the Pismo Beach. Pismo Coast Village RV Resort is located midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles. The Camp Ground is beautifully landscaped and is located right on the beach. The village has 400 full hook sites, each with a wireless Internet access and cable television, the 26 mostly grassy, tree-lined acres. Other services offered include a general store, an arcade, a restaurant, a laundry room, heated swimming pool, rent a bicycle and a mini-golf.

Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Camping Area offers more than five and a half miles of beach open to vehicle use. Oceano Dunes is the only State in California, where the vehicle can be driven on the beach. The cars can easily drive on the northern part of the beach. Activities include surfing, swimming, surf fishing, riding and bird watching.

Pismo Beach Camping State offers all sorts of attractions such as hiking, swimming, surf fishing, and the widening of the famous Pismo clam. The park has the world's largest colony of monarch butterflies wintering in the US Some of the features include a trolly service to the surrounding community, four restaurants 2 blocks from the restaurant and rental of mountain bikes available in 2 blocks of the earth.
